Welcome to Fleet Contacts (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our software-as-a-service platform, API, and iOS application (the “Service”).

By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.


1. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms (if applicable)
  • Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.


3. Customer Responsibilities

You agree that you are solely responsible for:

  • The data you upload, create, or store in the Service
  • Ensuring that no sensitive, confidential, or regulated information is stored in contacts or contact groups
  • Protecting and controlling access to configuration URLs
  • Configuring and managing which devices receive contact data
  • Compliance with all data protection, privacy, and security laws (including GDPR where applicable)

You must not use the Service to transmit or store:

  • Sensitive personal data or special-category data
  • Authentication credentials, financial data, medical data, or government-issued identifiers
  • Illegal or harmful content

4. Public URL Access to Contact Groups

The Service allows you to generate public URLs that provide access to contact groups.

You understand and agree that:

  • Anyone with the URL may access the associated contact group
  • You are solely responsible for securing and restricting access to these URLs
  • We are not responsible for unauthorized access due to exposed or mismanaged URLs

Treat these URLs as sensitive organizational configuration assets.


5. Tenant Isolation & Hosting

Each customer (tenant) is hosted in:

  • An isolated container environment
  • A dedicated database
  • Infrastructure logically separated from other customers

This architecture is designed for isolation, but does not replace your obligation to secure URLs, devices, and users.


6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to circumvent or disable security controls
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Service
  • Interfere with the operation or integrity of the Service
  • Use the Service for harmful, fraudulent, or illegal activities
  • Attempt to access other customers’ data or environments

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations.


7. Service Availability & Support

We strive to maintain reliable operation of the Service but do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted availability
  • Freedom from errors or defects
  • Compatibility with all devices or environments

Support is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. Scheduled or emergency maintenance may temporarily affect availability.


8. Fees & Payment (If Applicable)

If the Service includes paid plans, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your subscription
  • Maintain updated billing information
  • Allow automatic renewal unless you cancel prior to the renewal date

We may modify pricing with advance notice.


9. Data Retention & Deletion

Upon termination of your account:

  • Your customer data will be deleted from active systems within a commercially reasonable timeframe
  • Some backup or archival copies may persist temporarily as part of standard retention processes

You may request data deletion by contacting us.


10. GDPR & Data Protection

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the following applies:

  • You are the Data Controller
  • We are the Data Processor

You are responsible for:

  • Determining the legal basis for storing personal data
  • Responding to data subject requests
  • Ensuring no special-category or sensitive personal data is stored
  • Providing required notices and obtaining necessary consents

We process your data only to provide and maintain the Service.


11. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service, including software, trademarks, branding, and content (excluding user-generated content), are owned by or licensed to us.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service.


12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You fail to pay applicable fees
  • Your use poses a security or operational risk
  • Required by law or regulatory order

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Any defects will be corrected
  • The Service will meet your requirements

Use of the Service is at your own risk.


14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid during the preceding 12 months (or $0 for free users)

We are not responsible for:

  • Misconfigured or exposed public URLs
  • Unauthorized access caused by your actions or omissions
  • Data you choose to upload or distribute

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your data or contact information distributed through the Service

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly.

Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of:

Any disputes must be resolved in the courts located in:
